I grew up in a tiny rural town in the Catskill Mountains and I came to know the Lord when I was in my early teenage years. From a young age, I sensed God's call upon my life. Without a doubt, I knew that I wanted to be in full-time ministry. I attended college and then went on to seminary where I met my husband, Dan.
Dan and I were married and did 10 years of inner-city ministry in New Jersey with a parachurch organization before going into church ministry. We have served in that capacity for the past 19 years. Ministry is both a challenge and a joy and I am thankful for our many experiences throughout the years. I am licensed and consecrated with our denomination, The Christian & Missionary Alliance, and my husband and I serve in a church in Western NY.
Life has not been easy, however, God has used the things I experience as a wife, mom, and woman in ministry to shape and change me. Much of my writing stems from what God is teaching me on this journey.
I have written 4 women's devotional books and love to write. I am a bit of a renaissance woman and love to do many different things. My blog is a mixture of my faith, family, food, encouragement and being a woman in ministry.
